Runway Development

MAF is always seeking to open up isolated areas of Liberia in order to bring more development, higher living standards and the gospel to every corner of the country. Having constructed many runways around the world and seen the impact that opening up isolated areas has had, MAF is keen to assist in reaching out even further.

In 2016 and 2017, MAF completed Rivercess and Cesstos airstrips, and Tapeta airstrip in cooperation with Samaritan's Purse. We continue to seek groups interested in beginning projects in isolated regions and see if building a runway could aid in their work.

From our previous experience we are able to advise on the requirements for building or rehabilitating an airstrip. We can also help with the paperwork that needs to be submitted to the Aviation Authority.
